Danielle Sikes, Chair

Danielle has served as Secretary of the Davis County Democrats for the past two years and brings organizing experience from her time with the Utah State Democratic Party, where she supported candidates and mobilized voters. She also serves on the Women’s State Legislative Council and is a Planning Commissioner for Clearfield City. Outside of politics, Danielle is an avid outdoor enthusiast who moved to Utah for its mountains and public lands—she enjoys marathons, triathlons, and backpacking.

A Davis County native, Garret is a social studies and theater teacher who’s deeply connected to the community and the challenges it faces. He’s passionate about unity, collaboration, and practical solutions, with a hopeful yet realistic outlook on the future. Garret nearly became the Democratic candidate for Congressional District 2, missing the nomination by just one vote in a special ranked-choice election. He currently serves as the precinct chair for Centerville and is a strong believer in the mission of the Davis County Democrats.

Garret Rushforth, Vice Chair

Drew is a Software Data Engineer with a background in both technology and communications. He’s passionate about making systems more efficient and improving how information is shared. His skills in organizing data and streamlining communication help the Davis Dems stay connected, informed, and engaged throughout the county.

Drew Ipson, Secretary

Neca has served on the Davis County Democrats Central Committee since 2018 as a Legislative Chair. She brings four years of experience as PTA treasurer at Cook Elementary and has lived in Davis County since 1998. She and her husband run a small engineering consulting firm. Neca is also a founding member of Mama Dragons, a support group for parents of LGBTQ+ children, and currently serves on its board.
